A wildfire is a big fire that spreads through forests, grasslands, or bushes. It can start from lightning or sometimes from people being careless. Wildfires can move very fast, especially when it’s hot, dry, and windy. But fire is also part of nature – some forests actually need fire to stay healthy!
💡 Fun Fact: Some trees, like the Australian eucalyptus, have seeds that only open after a fire! The fire clears the old stuff and the new trees grow back even stronger.
